According to deadlists the first one was a rehersal of David and the Dorks at the Matrix 12/15/70. However the first real one was 2/18/71 (the last Mickey show for a while). The last one was 6/27/95.

I really like the ones from 71 and maybe the SkullF-ck one the best. I prefer the faster paced ones as well as the sound that Jerry was getting with his guitar before he switched. I am not as much a fan of the late 70s ones where it is slower but they picked up the pace on a few in the early 80s that are nice. Haven't heard enough to have an opinion on which one is best though.

If you haven't heard the Bertha from 10/29/77 you're missing out. The middle jam led by Jerry will burn off both your little ears. The "dew drop" bass notes Phil lobs in the intro are amazing as well.

My favorite all time BERTHA.

1st Bertha- 2-16-71 Capitol Theater
I found my well worn deadbase V the other day, still containing some unused tape covers, won't need them anymore.

Not sure about last one.

Best by decade ?
